Row, row your boat, take me down the stream….

June 21, 2023

Hello, today we decided to rent a boat, Jerry said that we had to do it because this place is famous for canoeing. Well I know how to swim but I don’t like deep waters, Jerry doesn’t know how to swim that much. From the beginning we were afraid, the canoe was very unstable. If we move a little it felt as if it was going to flip over. The view was pretty, we saw a bold eagle, a mama bear with two babies (from a very long distance). I saw lily pods, a dragonfly sat on my leg. Needless to said we only stayed on the water for a little over two hours. After that experience we have decided that we are land people. We went for a ride. We ate at a nearby restaurant. I had rice pilaf soup, it was delicious. We took Noche next to a lake where she could run. Then we went home, I cooked rice and Jerry cooked chicken and green beans.
